Type Diagnosing and detecting malfunctions in internal combustion engines (ICE) is not an easy task due to their complex design. Timely high-quality ICE monitoring allows performance be maintained prevents breakdowns. Vibration acoustic analysis a powerful informative tool for faults even at early stage. This article considers method determining the main of valvetrain (VT) (tightness "valve-seat" interface, thermal gap valve drive, opening closing phases) by measuring analyzing vibroacoustic pulses caused operation individual engine elements.
